My macular degeneration advancement has slowed down
I have the beginning stage of macular degeneration.I had read that a specific combination of vitamins and minerals helps slow down the advancement of this eye disease. The test results were quite impressive so I started taking one Focus Select Areds2 supplement in the morning and one in the evening about 9 months ago. The gel caps are easy to swallowAt my last eye appointment, the advancement of my Macular degeneration had slowed down. My eye doctor said that test results with these certain vitamins and minerals are impressive. I am not sure if it’s the Areds2 that is slowing down my macular degeneration or just luck. But I have trust in the Focus Select and will continue taking them. These vitamins are expensive but well worth it if it saves me from having advanced macular degeneration.

Doctor’s orders
The Focus pills have been advised by my retina specialist five years ago, therefore, I take these pills and do not complain. My overall health is excellent, for an 81 year old. I do not take any prescription drugs. I am assuming that in the scheme of things, Focus is doing it’s part in keeping me well.

A little cheaper than at eye doctor
My ophthalmologist had me take this after cataract surgery (had small complication) to help with eye health. I continue with this regime & found it was a little cheaper here.

Good Vitamins
My mother had macular degeneration and I saw what she went through. She started taking eye vitamins and it slowed the progress of the disease. So I’ve been taking them for years as a preventative. My sister-in-law also was diagnosed with MD and this is the brand her ophthalmologist recommended. So I switched to this newer formula of eye vitamins.

I highly recommend these. I see them working on my own Mother
My Mom has Macular Degenerative the wet kind of which there is presently no cure. My Mom goes to the eye doctor every year for them to check the progression of the disease. The last time she went the doctor said her eyes showed some signs of improvement. He said to definitely keep taking these pills and they may stop the progression so she doesn’t go blind.

Product arrived melted
I order this frequently and did not realize there was a no refund policy. I get that because of the nature of the product. However, these arrived totally melted. I just opened them and not one pill is usable. I did not let the package sit on my patio after delivery but immediately brought it in. There has been extreme heat in AZ. This is probably not the place to request a refund but I respectfully do so.

This Focus Select product works for my husband’s Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)!
I can’t say enough as to how much this supplement has helped my husband. In October 2018 my husband was diagnosed with the beginnings of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) during his bi-annual eye exam. Our ophthalmologist specifically recommended this version of Focus Select to help slow the progression of this disease. My husband faithfully took 2 pills daily since last October. We just returned from a 3-month follow up with the doctor and received news we had not expected: that the inflammation in the affected eye was greatly reduced and there was no sign of progression of the AMD. He further said the affected eye, compared to how it looked 6 or so months ago, looks almost normal now. He further said he was so happy to be able to deliver that kind of news to us, and encouraged my husband to continue with the Focus select product. We are people of faith and are firstly grateful to God and Saint Lucy for the granted healing. We are also grateful to the manufacturer of Focus Select for such a wonderful product that REALLY WORKS. I have wasted so much money in the past on supplements to help this or that affliction, and can’t be any more thrillled to have finally found an over-the-counter supplement that ACTUALLY WORKS. Did I say this stuff works??!!I have not received any kind of incentive or compensation to post this review. My husband and I just want to share our experience with Focus Select – that it worked for us!

It is difficult to determine the efficacy of any supplemental medicine
Delivery was as promised.I will not ever know if this supplement has slowed deterioration in my eye-sight. I have to rely on my physician’s evaluation of my sight, and the medical research that has been done with components of the supplement. She does say hat my eyesight has not changed since I began talking Focus.

Equivalent to Better-Known Brand
I have been using this brand of AReds2 medication for more than 5 years, since it is the brand my ophthalmologist recommended as a less expensive version of Preser-V****n. Have been happy ever since, and saved money, too.

At my last eye examine with the specialist who prescribed my glasses and contact lenses the doctor said my eyes actually seem a bet better. That’s due to a combination of taking Focus …
One of the retinal specialists who helped create Focus is the doctor who diagnosed my macular degeneration (dry). At my last eye examine with the specialist who prescribed my glasses and contact lenses the doctor said my eyes actually seem a bet better. That’s due to a combination of taking Focus and wearing my contact lenses less at home. This year I added the dry eye formula and my eyes are no longer crusty in the morning, and my contacts are more comfortable. I could not be happeir with both Focus products. Lots of over the counter vitamins and supplements use formaldehyde as a preservative and I’m allergic to it. I have no issues with the Focus products. They were designed by leading eye specialists. The product quality and results are outstanding.

Received a hard rock Focus in the bottle
It is a good eye vision vitamin. Order arrived on time on 6/28/19, received a big hard rock focus in the bottle. I am so disappointed the company arrange improper way of shipping (2-3 days in 95F 😫. I don’t know how will be in July & August. As description required it should be stored in cool temperatures. The fish store make sure the fish is fresh ( not rotten) when customers received. So does Focus should be . The Sticky hard rock focus, I don’t think it remains it’s quality. Don’t buy specially in the summer.

Which of these AREDS2 supplements is better?
I believe it is impossible to judge the long-term effectiveness of an AREDS2 product. I began using the ActiveEyes AREDS2 supplement, but when it was temporarily unavailable I tried the Focus Select product. Wondering about the differences, I compared their ingredients and the price per day at the recommended dosage. I concluded that I needed twice as many of the Focus capsules as the ActiveEyes for the same potential effect. See the image for the source of the following information: Focus Select ActiveEyesPrice $16.99 $19.99Capsules 60 90Days 30 45$/day $0.56 $0.44 IngredientsVitamin C 250 500Vitamin E 200 266Zinc 12.5mg 80mgCopper 0.7mg 2mgLutein 5mg 10mgZeaxanthin 1mg 2mgThe lists of Other Ingredients are quite different, and may recommend one product over the other.

Good Product
I like this one better than the one by Preservision. The dose of zinc is much less than Preservision, which is preferred. The lower dosage is preferred by my doctor also. Table size is small compared to others also. Glad I found this brand.

I have a family history of Macular Degeneration and a few precursors to the disease. This supplement was recommended by my retinal specialist. I can’t say for certain that the supplement has made the difference but my eyes have been stable for several years.

$46.00 for 3 month supply: 180 pills, taking two a day. I have macular degeneration, so it’s hard to determine how effective these vitamins are. But I believe they are helping. My wife also takes them, so $90.00 (2 bottles) is a little pricey, but they seem to be working. Hey, being in our late 70s, we need all the help we can get!

Doctor prescribed this for beginning signs of macular degeneration. My MD seems to be stable which is great. I just wish this wasn’t so expensive! I realize my eyesight is worth the money but it sure would be nice to not have to pay so much for this product. Typically it arrives quickly after my order. Last time I reordered, it took 2-3 times the length of time for it to be delivered.

CANNOT SWALLOW THESE
These pills are just a little larger and fatter than a Jelly Belly. I cannot swallow them. I choked three times, then gave up. I’m sure they are very good product, but it would have helped to see a picture of the pill next to another object. I would never have bought them.

Good eye vitamin formula
Follows areds2 formula, and has less zinc than other eye vitamin formulas, as studies now say only the amount of zinc in this formula is necessary. If more zinc is not needed, why take it? Pretty easy to swallow, although they’re rather big. They’re kind of squishy, which might help avoid the sticking in throat or esophagus.
